Education/Teaching Background
Mrs. Salge graduated from Allison-Bristow High School. She then attended the University of Northern Iowa and majored in Elementary Education with a minor in English/Language Arts and Reading. Mrs. Salge then continued her education by earning degrees in elementary and high school Special Education while working in her first teaching position at Greene Community Schools in 1998. Mrs. Salge began teaching High School Special Education in 2004 when Allison-Bristow and Greene began whole grade sharing. In 2013, Mrs. Salge also added the title of At Risk Coordinator/Bearcat Success Center to her teaching duties, and in the fall of 2015, Mrs. Salge began teaching 7th grade Comprehension Strategies. |
Family
Mrs. Salge and her husband, Michael, live in the North Butler School district. They have four children who attend North Butler Schools. The family enjoys fishing, miniature golfing, and attending sporting events.
